Custom earmolds
Custom earmolds are made to fit the contour of your ear. Custom earmolds provide the most
secure fit. As such, custom earmold provide the most efficient hearing protection. Earmolds are available in many sizes, colors and types. The type of earmold you will need will be determined by your hearing needs. Earmolds are available in either full-shell or half-shell size. Full-shell earmolds are suitable for high levels of noise exposure while half-shell earmolds are suitable for lower levels of noise exposure.
Custom earplugs
Custom earplugs are made to fit the contour of the inner ear. Custom earplugs provide the tightest and most secure fit. As such, custom earplugs are the most efficient hearing protection. Custom earplugs are suitable for many individuals, including:
- Swimmers or surfers
- Musicians
- Concert attendees
- Manufacturing or construction employees

Hearing protection for musicians
Musicians require hearing protection but still need to be able to hear the environment around them. In an effort to help musicians, manufacturers have created special monitors, earplugs and earmolds that will keep musicians rocking without putting their hearing at risk.
Earplugs and earmolds
Hearing Aid Consultants of North Mississippi can work with musicians of any type, from rock and rollers to orchestra maestros, to create a custom-made earplug or earmold. In addition, custom earmolds can be fitted with a filtered attenuator, which allows musicians to hear the environment around them without damaging their hearing.
Monitors for musicians
Monitors are custom-made headphones that both block out external noise and deliver the monitor mix directly to a musician’s ears. Monitors replace traditional floor monitors and, most importantly, protect against high levels of ambient noise, that can be permanently damaging to a musician’s hearing.

Hunting:
Hunting, shooting and sudden noise. A filter instantaneously closes when damaging noise levels are reached. Allows essentially normal hearing at all other times.
Music:
Ideal for performing musicians and concert-goers. Also great for flight attendants, bartenders, waiters, dental professionals. Allows wearer to hear sounds accurately, but at reduced levels. Three filter options available: 9dB, 15dB or 25dB.
Swimming:
For swimming and showering – and they FLOAT! Also provide superb noise reduction.
Sleep:
Offers comfortable and uninterrupted rest. Also great for shift workers with non-traditional hours.
Motorsport:
Designed with a hollow canal for under helmet use to reduce wind buffeting.
Surf:
Designed to prevent surfer’s ear and swimmer’s ear caused by exposure to cold water and wind. The floatable material is molded with a sealed membrane spanning the sound bore that keeps cold water and air out of the ear canal, but allows for conversation and hearing while in the ear.
Occupational:
Ideal for high-noise industrial environments.
